Austin's Last Day at School

The school was closed on Austin's last day due to snow and icy weather. So the poor little one never had a proper farewell with all his teachers and friends.

Saturday evening before we left US, we went back to pick up his stuff.
One of his teacher Lauren was around, she hugged him and said good-bye. Austin was quiet and his face didn't show any emotion.

Daddy let him walked around all empty class rooms, he looked so lonely.

When I looked back at these photos, I felt so sad.
Maybe because I knew that he might not come back to the same school and meeting the same friends anymore after that day. He still think that we were leaving for vacation and will return soon.

I admired his simple thinking method, less sadness in his world.

I searched back all his photos taken at school and realized that I didn't have many of them.
This photo was taken first day he's in school. A girl tried to make friend with him but he didn't know how to response.

He favorite time at school was during the playground time, so focus until not notice we were around.

The teacher passed me a bunch of school work he done at school and I was amazed.
All these were completed within his three months school life in US!
Felt so proud of him!

Time to say good bye

Time flies especially when you are happy and enjoying.
Three months ago, we arrived at this empty apartment, made it our home away from home in Austin, Texas.

We filled it with lots of fun and joy. My little boss grow up a lot in this tiny apartment.

We brought him to places papa and mama been in their honeymoon five years ago.

We had our first large Christmas tree in this apartment.

Little boss was so excited about Christmas.

We filled the apartment with loves and presents on Christmas!

And now, we got to pack all these joyful moments into boxes and sent them home.

Just being amazed that we could accumulate so much within three months plus.

Luggage ready to get home for Chinese New Year celebration. Another excitement waiting for us ahead!

Farewell, Austin!
