Beating the Jet Lag

Not just the 30 hours long-haul travel was painful, the process of beating the jet lag after that was suffering too.

This is how it feel, your body is so so tired but your mind refuses to shutdown. You know you should eat but your body just don't think you should then you wake up middle of the night and looking for food.

Day 1, Boss Cho wake up at 4am jumping and messing around the hotel room. My body just can't move even though I am awake, just let it be.

First morning at Austin, the little one looking at the pancake but had no appetite to eat at all.

I thought going out to get some sunshine would help and so he knocked-off at 8 pm, maybe it would help to get rid of jet lag.

Mommy had no appetite whole day, eating dinner at 9 pm, trying to make myself awake until 10 pm.

End up, we both too tired and over-slept until 10.30 am on Day 2. I thought it was over.

But....why my head was so heavy whole day? The little boss look so hyper-active but I just felt everything went wrong inside my head.

This is Day no.3.

I went to bed so early at 8 pm due to not feeling well.

Day 4, wake-up at 5 am and found he was awake too. Both just laying and chatting on bed waiting for sunrise.

What happened to mommy? It was 4.30pm and mommy said she wanted to go to bed. Leaving the lonely boss watching cartoon by himself.

But not for long, boss also fall asleep with mommy in late afternoon.

Day 5, finally... we wake up fresh no more heavy head feeling and ready to go out for our first weekend outing. Hooray!!!!
