Welcome to Austin!!!

A little flash back on my previous trip in Austin.
It was the next day after my wedding reception dinner, we wake up at 5am and rushing on two hours road trip from Ipoh to Penang airport.

After a long-haul flight, we arrived at Austin, celebrating our honeymoon for like 8 months.

When I delivered our first son, we named him after the city we had our lovely honeymoon, Austin. We never thought that there is a day, we will actually bringing Austin to Austin.

After five years, hubby got a relocation assignment again to Austin and hooray!!! Austin to coming to Austin!!!!

Welcome to the Capital of Texas, Austin!

2008 vs 2013, recognize any significant changes? I've paid a lot on anti-aging products.

Five years apart, I am no longer who I was. From his girl friends turned his wife and now mother of the little Boss Cho.

Initially we wanted to take a shot of mom and dad kissing the baby but he suddenly turned around and kissed me. Then, he told his dad, I kissed mommy! You lost!

Inside the capital building, standing right in the middle of the hall, you will hear your echo when you talk.

Look up! It is the symbol of the Lone Star State.

A bit of the history on the origin of Texas. Little boss kept making noise while mommy tried to read.

Short summary, Texas is origin from the Indian word "Teyshas" while when Spanish explorers arrived in 1540s, they took this to be a tribal name as Teyas or Tejas which eventually become Texas today.

It was also Austin Book Festival on the weekend and we met this cute owl. Austin was so excited to take photo with him.
